ABOUT ME

My name is Michael Garcia, and I’m a graphic designer focused on branding and identity. I studied design at Sam Houston State University, where I learned to think beyond visuals and treat design as a narrative tool. A medium that communicates purpose, value, and character.

My work spans brand identity, illustration, packaging, and publication design. No matter the medium, my goal is the same. To create clear, intentional identities that feel lived in rather than manufactured.

I’m not just a designer, I’m a human first. Between projects, you’ll usually find me playing tabletop RPGs, getting lost in a game, or making art for the sake of it. I believe that to make meaningful art, you have to live it. That means consuming a wide range of media spanning from music, film, comics, books, and more. I do this to better understand different perspectives and experiences that feed into my work. It’s how I’ve developed a visual palette rooted in curiosity, storytelling, and human connection, and how I approach every project I take on.
