The Big Roar

This project is a visual reimagining of The Big Roar by The Joy Formidable, created to explore the album through a new artistic lens. The work focuses on themes of light versus dark, emotional turbulence, and powerful natural forces. Inspiration came from ukiyoe prints, Art Nouveau fluidity, and surreal swirling textures, blending traditional and modern styles. Organic forms reference the intensity, transformation, and emotional depths present in the music.
